A speech’s introduction is the most important part. And for most of the times it is difficult to dup with effective openings for your speeches.You see, if you don’t have your audience’s undivided attention when you open your speech, it’s unlikely you’ll have their attention at all.

your audience will 15 seconds to 2 minutes at the begining of your speech if you loose them there, you might as well pack your bags and go home. You’ll never – or almost never – regain their attention

Here are some tips

1. memorize the first sentence of your speech

For the first 10 seconds or even any word your mind is doing its utmost to fight the anxiety. It is not the time to be creative. Writing the first sentence or two. And memorize it . (By the time you during those first terrible moments, your mind will start working again.)

•      2. Don't Start with a Joke
  

unless  you are a comic talent, the possibility for the audience laughing at a joke at the beginning of the right at the start is minimal  . Why calls for disaster? , Making some self-condemned, humorous remark, on the other hand, is a great way to start. (Which may, if necessary, to say your joke at a later time, after that the public had been prepared for you.)

3.Not to waste time with pleasantries

do not tell the public how you are happy to talk to them. Do not tell them what a large group of people they are. Do not recognize the characters in the audience. It all sounds like so much empty talk. (You can make similar comments later when your letter will sound more sincere.)

4.Tell a story.

Made a dramatic assertion. Ask a provocative question. Give a short quotation or obscene statistics. Whatever you do, just do so. 

5.Don't Apologize

The Time and effort you put in crafting a strong opening - whichever strategy you choose - you would bear it's fruit. That will win you the attention of the public, respect and good faith. It will make you feel more confident.

very private way to gage your loss or non-loss of intelligence. So take the
following test presented here and determine if you are losing it. OK, relax,
clear your mind and....... begin.

 1. What do you put in a toaster?

> > The answer is bread. If you said "toast", then give up now and go do
something else. Try not to hurt yourself. If you said, "bread", go to
question 2.

 2. Say "silk" five times. Now spell "silk". What do cows drink?

> > Answer: Cows drink water. If you said "milk", please do not attempt the
next question. Your brain is obviously overstressed and may even overheat.
It may be that you need to content yourself with reading something more
appropriate such as "Children's World". If you said, "water" then proceed to
question three.

3. If a red house is made from red bricks and a blue house is made from blue
bricks and a pink house is made from pink bricks and a black house is made
from black bricks, what is a greenhouse made from?

> > Answer: Greenhouses are made from glass. If you said "green bricks",
what the heck are you still doing here reading these questions?????
Dang..... If you said "glass", then go on to question four.

4. Twenty years ago, a plane is flying at 20,000 feet over Germany. If you

Step 1: specify your idea. Instead of just asking, “How can I make money?” ask: “How can I make money with this product, selling to this target audience in this type of environment?”, be as specific as you can.

The more details you can have the more likely you’ll come up with a solution that answers question. Half the game is in figuring out the question that you want answered.

Step 2: COLLECT as much information as possible about the subject of your question.

This step is ESSENTIAL because this knowledge spawns new ideas as you begin to discover lots of different interconnections.

A big key to your success is to continuously question your question! Sometimes you only get a few “half ideas”, but just write them down no matter how crazy they may seem.

Allow your mind to fit the connections together. It can sometimes take a while, but stick with it.

Step 3: DROP the whole subject and put the question you’re asking out of your mind!

Let your subconscious take over. Do something you enjoy that stimulates your mind and emotions. Put on some music, go to the movies - just get away from the question.

Step 4: AMAZINGLY, out of nowhere your “bright idea” will suddenly appear. It’s likely to come to you when you least expect it, perhaps when you’re taking a shower, or washing your car. It may even occur in the middle of the night, so be ready with a notepad and pen!

Step 5:  put your idea under the spotlight.

Maybe your idea isn’t as great as you first thought. Don’t worry, just talk it through with other people and make any changes that are needed to alter your idea so that it answers your original question. And that was: “How can I make money with this product, selling to this target audience in this type of environment?”
